Terra Mia: Andrea Vento Opens a New Restaurant on the Naples Waterfront

The launch is set up as a public event rather than a quiet soft opening: pasta e patate con provola and pizza are being offered free to everyone who turns up from 19:30 on 17 September, alongside a raffle for two trips to the Maldives and two to Sharm el-Sheikh at Vento's own Villaggio Vento Club. It's the kind of opening-night promotion that draws a crowd on a following of nearly half a million, so arriving early or booking ahead is worth it if the free food and prizes are the draw rather than the regular menu.

Via Partenope runs along the seafront between Piazza Vittoria and Borgo Marinari, past the Grand Hotel Vesuvio and the Excelsior and within a five-minute walk of Castel dell'Ovo — an easy stop to fold into an evening on the Lungomare Caracciolo rather than a special trip across town. It joins an already crowded run of restaurants and pizzerias along this stretch and toward Via Nazario Sauro, including Federico Guardascione's newer waterfront pizzeria, so Terra Mia is one more reason — not the only one — to walk the seafront before or after dinner rather than settle for the first table with a view.

One thing worth knowing before booking: Naples already has an unrelated restaurant called Terra Mia in Vomero, on Via Michele Kerbaker — a separate business under the same name. Vento's new opening is the one directly on the waterfront at Via Partenope.
