New Flight Route: easyJet Launches Naples–Liverpool, August 2026
Naples Capodichino gets its sixth UK route as easyJet starts flying to Liverpool twice a week — schedule, network reach, and what it means for planning a trip from northern England.

What's the new route, and how often does it fly?
easyJet's first Naples–Liverpool flight departed on 3 August 2026, running twice a week — Mondays and Fridays — between Capodichino and Liverpool John Lennon Airport. It's one of two new international routes the airline added for summer 2026 out of southern Italy, alongside a new Palermo–Bordeaux service. Naples now has six easyJet routes to the UK: Liverpool joins Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh and the two London airports, Luton and Gatwick, bringing the airline's total Naples network to 52 destinations.
Flights are bookable now on easyJet's website and app; as with the airline's other UK routes out of Naples, expect fares and schedules to shift seasonally, with the twice-weekly frequency the main planning constraint rather than price. First reported by Il Mattino, with route details confirmed on easyJet's own newsroom announcement and Il Denaro.
Is this useful for a Campania trip?
Twice-weekly frequencies mean this route only fits travel dates that land on a Monday or Friday — for anything else, a connection through London or Milan remains more flexible. But for travellers based in Liverpool or the North West of England, it's now possible to fly direct into Capodichino, which sits a 25–30 minute taxi or Alibus ride from Naples' centro storico, without routing through Rome or London first — genuinely useful for anyone building a Naples, Sorrento or Amalfi Coast trip from that part of the UK.
